A new program called Summer EBT, or “SUN Bucks,” has been authorized by a bipartisan U.S. Congress to provide food dollars to low-income families with school-aged children over the summer months. The program is proven to reduce food insecurity and improve children's nutrition during summer break. Governor Shapiro’s administration announced that the Commonwealth would participate in this program beginning in the summer of 2024. Punxsutawney School District is requesting athletic supply bids for the 2024-25 Fall, Winter & Spring Sports. Instructions to bidders and specifications may be obtained on the District's website under OUR DISTRICT-->BUSINESS OFFICE-->BIDS/REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The School Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.

The JV Baseball game against Clarion on Friday, April 12, has been cancelled. The JH Softball game against Union on Friday, April 12, has also been cancelled. The Track Meet at Brookville and the Baseball game at Johnsonburg on Saturday, April 13, have been cancelled.
