PASD Text Alert Registration

The Punxsutawney Area School District uses SchoolMessenger to send text alerts regarding special announcements, emergencies, delays, closings, and other important notification events. In order to receive these notifications, you must be registered with our SchoolMessenger system.

PREVIOUS USERS, PLEASE NOTE:
If you have already registered to receive our district text alerts previously, YOU DO NOT NEED TO RE-REGISTER THIS YEAR! (In the past, we have asked users to re-register at the beginning of October; however, we will not be doing that this year. If you were previously registered prior to the start of the 2023-24 school year, you should continue to receive PASD text alerts this year.)
If you were previously registered to receive PASD text alerts, but you wish to stop receiving these messages, you can text STOP to the number 67587.

If you are new to the district or if you did not register for the text alert system previously, you can register for our SchoolMessenger text alert system by completing the online form below. Be sure to click SUBMIT at the bottom of the form when you have filled in all your information.
Once you have submitted your registration, you may need to scroll up from the bottom of the page to see the confirmation message in the form. The confirmation message should read: "Thank you for registering for SchoolMessenger, the PASD text alert system. Please allow up to TWO SCHOOL DAYS for your registration to be uploaded into our system."
If you registered for our text alerts previously and are still not receiving any of our notifications, text YES to 67587 to opt-in. (You must have registered first before you opt-in.)
