SUBJECT: Reading

GRADES: 2 and 4

My passion is literacy. I love to work with children and help them improve their reading, writing and language skills.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Grove City College and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Reading from University of Virginia. I have taught in Virginia and Brazil before coming to Punxsutawney. I have eight years of experience as a Reading Specialist and I am a CERI certified Orton Gillingham Instructor. I am really excited to get to work with students at PAES and help them grow as readers and writers.

I live in Rochester Mills with my husband and three children. I enjoy reading, gardening, baking, and being outside.
