Hello! My name is Erika Dowden and this will be my first year teaching at Punxsutawney Area Elementary School on the third grade team! I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood/Special Education. My previous teaching experiences have been in both general education and special education classrooms.

I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two golden retrievers, camping, and traveling/exploring new places! Teaching has always been a passion of mine and I am very honored to teach in Punxsutawney!
