Hello!  My name is Tessa Ellis and I was hired as Bell Township’s second grade teacher in February 2013.  Teaching is my passion and I am so excited to have been given the opportunity here in Punxsutawney. 

I graduated from Clarion University in December 2011 with certifications in special education, early childhood education, and elementary education.  I was a substitute teacher for Punxsutawney and other surrounding school districts before I was hired full-time. 

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, singing and playing guitar, and other various activities.  My family consists of my husband, our 2 year old son, and our golden retriever.  Education has always been of highest importance to me, since both of my parents are also teachers.   I want you to know that I will always try my hardest to make sure your child is a successful student and reaching his/her fullest potential.
