GRADE: High School

Hello! My name is Dr. Nicole Stants. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to teach a variety of science courses here in the Punxsutawney Area School District. These courses include: Biology, Physical Science, Astronomy, and Life Science.

I majored in secondary education/biology and earned my bachelors degree at Clarion University. While working for the Punxsutawney district, I earned a masters degree in environmental education from Slippery Rock University and my doctorate in curriculum and instruction from IUP. I have also worked at environmental education centers and taught college courses.

My husband and I have two young children. As a family, we enjoy being outdoors and operate a small grain farm.
