Hello! My name is Mrs. Shannon White. I am excited to work with the faculty and staff at Punxsutawney Area High School for the 2023 - 2024 school year.
Originally, I am from the suburbs of Memphis, Tennessee (Germantown, TN.) In 1996 my husband, Steve, and I moved to Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania to be close to his family as we started our own family. Since then we have added three daughters to our family.
I graduated summa cum laude from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Social Studies Education 7 - 12 with a concentration in History in May 2007. After graduation I served as an AmeriCorps teacher at Punxsutawney Area Middle School. Then in 2011, I completed a Masters of Education (N-12) in Special Education from Edinboro University.
